Bale

Also called: baled material, compressed bale

A bale is a block of loose material, such as cardboard, plastic, textiles, cotton or scrap metal, compressed by a baler and tied or strapped so it keeps its shape.

Bales are measured by size and weight. Dense, uniform bales use less storage space, fill trucks efficiently and usually sell for a better price than loose material.
