Rubber & silicone

Heated hydraulic presses for moulding rubber and silicone parts, with the steady pressure, temperature and curing time that consistent parts need.

Rubber and silicone parts, such as seals, gaskets, mats and technical mouldings, cure inside a heated mould under pressure. If pressure drops during curing or the platen temperature is uneven, you get flash, voids and parts that fail inspection. Many factories also run several moulds on the same press, so changeovers eat into production time.

The thermal forming press (PSG-HPTF) holds pressure steady through the curing time, and its four-column frame keeps the platens parallel across the whole mould area. Programs for each mould are stored in the control, more than 100 of them, so the operator calls up the right pressure, temperature and time instead of setting them by hand. A moving lower platen is available for safer loading and easier part removal.

Tell us the parts you mould, the mould sizes and the number of cavities, and we will size the force, platen area and heating for your production.

Questions

Can one press store settings for different products?

Yes. The PSG-HPTF thermal forming press stores more than 100 programs. Each program holds the settings for one product or mould, so a changeover means selecting a program rather than setting pressure, temperature and times by hand.

This shortens changeovers and keeps quality consistent between shifts and operators.
