Overview
Vertical, horizontal and metal baling presses that turn cardboard, plastic, textiles and scrap metal into dense, stackable bales that are easier to store, move and sell.
Loose cardboard, plastic film and scrap take up floor space, add to fire risk and fill trucks with air. A baler compresses the material into bales of known size and weight, so it can be stacked, loaded and sold by the bale.
The vertical baler (PSG-RECV), from 20 to 150 t, makes bales of 40 to 450 kg in a small footprint, with semi-automatic bale ejection and marked tie points. It suits shops, warehouses and factories with steady but moderate volumes. The fully automatic horizontal baler (PSG-RECH), from 100 to 400 t, makes bales of 95 to 1250 kg with automatic ejection, for continuous, high-volume lines. The horizontal metal baler (PSG-RECM), from 40 to 150 t, compresses steel and aluminium scrap into bales of 400 to 1250 kg and reduces its volume by up to 90 %.
The right baler depends on four things: the material, your daily volume, the space you have and the bale weight your buyer accepts. Tell us those and we will recommend a model, or design a special one. For a client in Sudan we built a compact, transportable cotton baler that moves between sites and makes bales of 70 to 90 kg.
How it works
- 1Load the chamber with loose material.
- 2The ram presses it into a dense block.
- 3Tie the bale and push it out.

Questions
Vertical or horizontal baler: which one do I need?
A vertical baler (PSG-RECV, 20–150 t, bales of 40–450 kg) suits smaller daily volumes and tight spaces: one operator loads it, presses, ties and ejects the bale. A fully automatic horizontal baler (PSG-RECH, 100–400 t, bales of 95–1250 kg) suits continuous, high volumes, with automatic bale ejection.
For scrap metal, the horizontal metal baler (PSG-RECM) is the right choice. If you are between two models, tell us your material and daily volume and we will recommend one.
What bale weight will I get?
Bale weight depends on the baler and on the material: the same chamber produces a heavier bale from dense material than from light film or foam. As a guide, our vertical baler makes bales of 40 to 450 kg, the horizontal baler 95 to 1250 kg and the metal baler 400 to 1250 kg.
Tell us the bale weight your buyer accepts and the material, and we will size the machine to reach it.
What information do you need to prepare a quotation?
The more we know about the job, the more accurate the quote. For a press: the part or product, the material and its thickness, the force you expect to need, table size, daylight and stroke, heating if any, and the output per shift. For a baler: the material, your daily volume, the floor space available and the bale weight you want.
Drawings, photos of the current setup or a sample part all help. If you are not sure about some values, say so, and our engineers will work them out with you.

An engineer will study your request and get back to you with a proposal.
