Engineering design
Custom hydraulic system design: cylinders, pumps, valves, frame and controls sized for your application before any steel is cut.

Most hydraulic problems start on the drawing board: a cylinder sized without margin, a pump that runs hot because the circuit wastes energy, a frame that flexes under load. Good design fixes these before the machine exists, when changes cost least.
We design complete systems, with the mechanical structure, hydraulic circuit and controls treated as one. That means load and stress analysis on the frame, a hydraulic circuit sized to the force and speed you need with low energy losses, and controls flexible enough to run several products on one machine.
We also reverse-engineer imported parts and machines. We measure the original, find its weak points and design an improved version that can be built and serviced locally. Our five-jaw scrap grapple project followed exactly this path.
How it works
- 01
Requirements
We define what the system must do: forces, speeds, strokes, cycle time, materials, space, power supply and operating conditions.
- 02
Concept and sizing
We choose the machine layout and size the cylinders, pump, valves and power unit.
- 03
Load and stress analysis
We check the frame and critical parts under working loads so the machine holds up in continuous operation.
- 04
Detailed design
3D models, manufacturing drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics, and the parts list.
- 05
Review with you
We walk you through the design and adjust it before manufacture starts.
Questions
Can I send drawings, CAD files or a sample part?
Yes. The quote request accepts drawings and CAD files (STEP, DWG, DXF, IGES), photos and videos. A short video of the current process, or of the machine you want to replace, often answers questions a drawing cannot.
Files you send are kept private and used only to prepare your quotation.
Can you build a machine that is not in your catalogue?
Yes. Custom machines are a regular part of our work. We have reverse-engineered and improved an imported five-jaw scrap grapple, and designed a transportable cotton baler around a client's logistics.
Send us a description of the task, with photos or a video if possible. An engineer will tell you whether it is feasible and how we would approach it.
