Cotton & agriculture

Mobile cotton balers and hydraulic cylinders for agricultural machinery, built for field work, dust and machines that have to move between sites.

Cotton has to be pressed close to where it is collected, sometimes at several points in one day. A fixed baling line means hauling loose cotton, which is bulky, light and expensive to move. Machines in the field also face dust, heat and repeated loading and unloading, and there is rarely a workshop nearby when something goes wrong.

For a client in Sudan, Pernoscal designed a compact vertical cotton baler that loads easily, travels between sites in the same day and makes dense bales of 70 to 90 kg at a high production rate. The design started from the client's logistics and daily output, not from a standard model.

We also build hydraulic cylinders for agricultural machinery to the bore, stroke and mounting of the equipment, and we can measure a worn cylinder and build a replacement that fits the same place.
