Privacy Policy

Updated October 28, 2026

This page is a draft prepared for review by Pernoscal and its legal counsel. It is not yet in force and may change before publication.

Who we are

This website is operated by Pernoscal, an Egyptian company based in 10th of Ramadan City, Al-Sharqia, Egypt. Pernoscal decides how and why the personal data described in this policy is processed.

For any privacy question or request, contact us at Info@pernoscal.com or on +20 12 0883 0492. Our company registration details are shown in the footer of this website.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, contact us, ask for a call back or open a service request, we collect your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, your message and any files you attach, such as drawings, photos or videos. For service requests we may also record the model and serial number of your machine.

Equipment and service history. If you own a Pernoscal machine, we keep a record of the machine and of the service work we carry out on it.

Newsletter. If you choose to receive product news, we keep your email address and your subscription choice.

Website statistics. We measure how the site is used without cookies and without identifying you. We count pages viewed, the referring site, approximate country, device type and browser. Your IP address is used only briefly to produce an anonymous daily code and is then discarded. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record your visit.

Security data. To protect our forms from spam and abuse, we process technical data such as a one-way hashed form of your IP address and the result of an automated anti-spam check.

Why we use it and on what basis

To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation: based on your consent and on steps taken at your request before a contract.

To provide service, support and warranty: based on our contract with you and our legitimate interest in supporting the machines we supply.

To keep a record of machines and their service history: based on our contract with you.

To send product news: based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.

To produce website statistics and keep the site secure: based on our legitimate interest, using data that does not identify you wherever possible.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only for the purposes above: website and database hosting, file storage, email delivery, and Cloudflare for network security and spam protection. They act on our instructions and are bound to protect the data.

We may also disclose data where Egyptian law or a competent authority requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.

International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Egypt, including in the European Union and the United States. We transfer data abroad only under the conditions set by the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, and our forms tell you this before you submit them.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and enquiries: 3 years after our last contact with you, then anonymised.

Service requests: 5 years, for warranty and liability purposes; attached files 3 years.

Machine records and service history: for the life of the machine plus 5 years.

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days to process the request.

Website statistics: detailed records for 13 months; after that, only aggregated figures that cannot identify anyone.

Server security logs: 30 days. Backups: rotated so that no backup is kept for more than 12 months.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to staff who need it for their role, staff accounts are protected with two-factor authentication where required, and every change to customer records is logged. Files you upload are kept in private storage, checked before use and never publicly listed. Backups are encrypted.

Your rights

Under Egyptian law, and under the GDPR if you are in the European Union, you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to receive a copy, to have it corrected or completed, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email Info@pernoscal.com. We will verify your identity and reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Center in Egypt, or to the data protection authority in your country.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses. They are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date and version history are shown on this page.
